Wu Pun Yan Wu Pun Yan is Chairman and Chief Executive officer of CCS. Mr Wu is an engineering graduate majoring in metallurgy machinery from Jiangxi Province Xin Yu University and also studied Physics and advanced mathematics at Jiangxi Province Technological University. He was deputy general manager of Shenzhen Jiangzhou Hardware Company overseeing daily operations of the steel cutting factory with an annual production of 30,000 tonnes of steel. From 1993 to 1995 Mr Wu was the China Department Chief Executive Officer of Nobel Resources Group Company, a subsidiary of Singapore listed Nobel Group Limited. Since 1995 to present, Mr Wu is the chairman of Hong Kong Chang Yuan Group Co. Ltd an investment company and responsible for the main operations and business development of the companies within its group. In this role he is engaged in the trading of metal ore, scrap steel, casting works and the export and import of foodstuffs. Mr Wu has over 30 years experience in the steel industry and owns various investment and trading companies located in China and Hong Kong. RCI owns 100% of the issued shares in CCS. Hung Kwang Hou CA (UK) Mr Hung qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, United Kingdom in 1982. He is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (“ICAEW”) and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He has extensive experience in line and corporate management, having served in various senior positions in companies listed on the Bursa Malaysia, including U-Wood Holdings Bhd (Executive Director), Golden Plus Holdings Bhd (Group Managing Director) and Idris Hydraulic (Malaysia) Bhd (Group General Manager). He was also previously with United Overseas Bank and KPMG (UK and Malaysia). Ugo Cario B Com. CPA Mr Cario, aged 56, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has over 26 years experience in the Australian coal mining industry. For the last eight years he was Managing Director of Austral Coal Limited, a New South Wales underground coking coal producer. Mr Cario was involved in the establishment of Austral Coal Limited in 1997, and as inaugural chief executive was responsible for the Initial Public Offering, ASX listing and a number of capital raisings. During his tenure he was instrumental in securing finance and completing a major modernisation of Austral's Coal Tahmoor underground coal mine comprising over $150 million in capital investment. This substantial investment has established the Tahmoor Mine as one of the most modern longwall mines in Australia. Mr Cario is well experienced in coal marketing, having established a number of long term substantial coking coal contracts with Asian and European customers. In 2005 Austral Coal was successfully merged with Centennial Coal Limited with substantial returns accruing to Austral shareholders in the $350m offer. Prior to Austral Coal, Mr Cario held a number of senior positions with the Conzinc Riotinto Australia Group. In his 22 years with CRA, he undertook various General Manager roles in the Financial, Business Analysis and Operational areas and was a director of Kembla Coal and Coke Pty Ltd, its fully owned subsidiary and owner of CRA coal assets. Mr Cario is also a former Director of Port Kembla Coal Terminal, the New South Wales Joint Coal board and 2004 Interim Chairman of the New South Wales Minerals Council. Mr Chye, aged 37, is an accountant by profession with 15 years experience in the management and administration of publicly listed companies in Malaysia. Mr Chye is also a Director of London & County Pty Ltd, a management consulting group. Mr Chye specialised in advising both public and private companies on acquisitions, mergers, capital raisings and balance sheet restructurings. He has managed a significant number of initial public offerings and secondary market capital raisings for public and private companies, his main strength being in the restructuring and financing of entities, including preparation of prospectuses and other requirements for listings on the Bursa Malaysia (formerly called the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) and on the ASX. He has been a Director since 13 September 2004. John Girdlestone Chen De Hao Mr Chen De Hao is the General Manager of CY (Huaibei) and is responsible
for the overall management of the company’s day to day operations
including the production department. Zhao Dening Andrew W. Metcalfe B.Bus,
CPA, FCIS, Grad. Dip. AppCorpGov Mr Metcalfe has over 20 years experience in finance and accounting and 10 years as company secretary for a number of ASX listed entities. Andrew assists these companies on company secretarial processes and procedures. Mr Metcalfe is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and is also actively involved with the Victorian Branch of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries as a member of the Professional Development Committee and presenting seminars on various areas of company secretarial practice. Andrew commenced his career in Audit with Coopers & Lybrand, Melbourne; was based in London for six years working in accounting and treasury before returning to Australia in May 1995 to be appointed Company Secretary and Financial Controller for Haoma Mining Ltd, before joining the Lowell Flinders Group in December 1997 to manage that group’s Corporate Administration division. Mr Metcalfe left the Lowell Flinders Group in February 2005 to establish Accosec Consultants Pty Ltd as a specialist company secretarial consultancy practice to ASX listed and non-listed companies.
